Missions IT Network
Every place I've ever traveled whether for pleasure or work, I've always wanted to go to the hood. I foolishly looked at growing up around poverty as a badge of honor. This made me feel like I could relate to the people there. Then God blessed my wife and I with the opportunity to serve in Maua, Kenya on a missions trip. Africa changed my view, there I could not relate to the level of poverty that was before me. The vast contrast in the level of poverty I've encountered in America vs. Kenya compelled me to serve. Information Technology is something I've always been gifted at and I discovered that my gifts are in great need at the hospital in which we served. This lead to the idea of creating a network of like minded IT professionals willing to serve, and give birth to the possibility of something greater for underserved communities that deserve to have a better human existence.
